As we process and work through the drastic changes in the national climate of refugee resettlement over the past few months, we have to report the need for a “soft landing” for those legally new to our neighborhoods is more acute than ever.
Your WELCOME HOME team is currently preparing a new series of training sessions and new support so we can mobilize our church families to reach out in love. We would love to have our support, your input and involvement.
Please feel free to contact us and join our news list so we can update you on our next training sessions and mobilization. A simple email to firstname.lastname@example.org will add you to our update list.
We will be happy to keep you up-to-date on what is planned for our next training and how you can participate! Just send us a brief email and we will notify you when our 2019/2020 training schedule is released.
We’ve love to know you’re coming. If you’d like you can RSVP to email@example.com

A great big Thanks to all of you who spoke with Welcome Home about our need for a working electronic Keyboard. Federal Way Church of the Nazarene has generously donated just what we needed! PTL! The instrument will be used for a new music program involving refugee teens and young adults in South King County. This donation is greatly appreciated!
There is still time to register for the September 23 Volunteer Training! It’s a short, action-packed, and informative session. It will get you ready to be connected with a new refuge friend, or just help you better understand the immigrant and refugee situation and needs. The session goes from 9:30 AM to Noon.
